Privacy Policy

Last updated January 2026

Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use this website (the “Site”) or buy the Songwriter Beat Bundle (the “Bundle”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us directly

  • Lead capture & AI Song Finder. If you use the AI Song Finder Assistant or sign up for tips, we collect your name, email, genre preferences, mood/style inputs, and the biggest songwriting challenge you describe.
  • Purchase information. When you buy the Bundle, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your name, email, billing address, and card details to process the payment. We never see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic analytics. Like most websites, we collect anonymous information about how visitors use the Site — pages viewed, referring website, approximate location, and device/browser type. We use Vercel Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not set tracking cookies that follow you across the web.
  • Server logs. Our servers automatically log standard request data (IP address, timestamp, URL) for security and debugging. These logs are kept short-term.

2. How we use your information

  • To deliver the Bundle and provide your download link.
  • To respond to support requests and customer service questions.
  • To improve the Site, the AI assistant, and our future products.
  • To send you optional updates about new beat packs, tips, or promotions — only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.

3. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the business, such as:

  • Stripe for payment processing.
  • Vercel for hosting and analytics.
  • Email and customer-support tools we use to communicate with you.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers or others.

4. Cookies and tracking

The Site uses minimal cookies — primarily for things like keeping you signed in to functional features and basic analytics. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, although some features may not work as expected if you do.

5. Data retention

We keep purchase records as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. Lead-capture information (name, email, AI inputs) is kept until you ask us to delete it or until it is no longer relevant for the purpose it was collected.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through 20DollarBeatsand we'll respond within a reasonable time frame.

7. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect the information we hold, including HTTPS encryption everywhere on the Site and never storing raw credit-card numbers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe.

9. International users

The Site is operated from the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection laws than your country. By using the Site, you consent to that transfer.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Significant changes will be announced on the Site.
